About Us

Citrus Village is an Independent Senior Christian Living Community located in Upland, CA. We are right in the heart of Southern California, in the Inland Empire: San Bernardino County near Rancho Cucamonga, Claremont, and Montclair. We focus on providing whole care for both the body and soul. As part of the Brethren in Christ Church, we work to create an inviting, loving community where we cultivate a holistic living experience that focuses on both body and soul. Citrus Village is home to 15 apartments ranging from one bedroom and two bedroom units. We offer competitively priced apartments for anyone 55 years or older. Additionally, we have a host of free and low cost amenities, which provide comfort and care for our residents.

Our History

This building was built in 1962 as dorms for the Upland College, which was a college started by the Brethren in Christ to train ministers to help spread the Gospel.  After the college it became apartments for multiple different owners under the name Summerland Apartments.

​

In 2023, Connect Senior Services acquired the dorms from the Pacific Community Center.  Since then we have worked to bring back the charm and the character of the site snd how transformed the site into a robust campus for Seniors.  With the Community Center being our neighbor, also residents to not only enjoy the benefits of a private lifestyle, but they are across the street from an active hub for the community.
